Letters from the RAs
Summer '18 ep.4
Meet Arlet!
Hey hey, beautiful creatures!!
My name is Arlet, I was born and raised in Cuba (si, si hablo español también) and lived in Miami right before moving to Prescott, (haha yes I've come a long way). I'm currently a senior studying Human Development with an emphasis in Psychology and perhaps Expressive Arts Therapy too. I transferred to Prescott College less than a year ago, and I can surely say it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Our community is so welcoming and open-minded, you will find someone with the same interests as you guaranteed!! I'm so excited to meet the new group of incoming students (all of you butterflies) and to be able to be a resource for all of you because just a year ago I was in your position, and I was so confused about so many things and had so many questions, so being able to help makes me happy. The biggest piece of advice I can think of it's only to bring what is extremely necessary for you, I had to come on a bus for three days so I couldn't carry many things, here there are all kinds of stores you can get cute decorations and other miscellaneous items. For now, enjoy the rest of your summer and get excited for your next incredible adventure at Prescott College!!!
PS: Don't be shy to ask any questions through this group, last year I was literally asking if I could get Cuban pastries in Arizona... (in case you're wondering, you can't :( )
Oh oh I almost forgot I love dogs, coloring, avocados and Studio Ghibli chao!
