OES May Lunch Menu:
Fine Arts Night/OES Book Fair
We would like to invite you to browse over 1000 artworks from Pre-school through 6th Grade. There will be paintings, masks, and sculptures to enjoy. What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of our school year! Be sure to drop by the student ambassadors’ fundraiser in the Etnyre gym. You may purchase a decorated rock or paint one yourself! Check out the concessions stand; proceeds will go to the OES Buddy Benches. The second and fourth grade concerts will be at 6:00 in the OHS gym. Don't forget to stop by the book fair in the OES gym.

Celebrate Progress:
Vocabulary Boosters:
- Keep your ears open: When you and your child go places, point out words that people use. Maybe a waiter describes an entree or the dentist talks about molars. Encourage your child to figure out what the words mean by the way they're used.
- Go beyond nouns: Help your child add adjectives and verbs to his/her vocabulary. Sports and games offer opportunities to use action words. Let your children hear you comment on the softball that soars or the runner who sprints.
