Whats a breech baby? and what are the symptoms?
A breech baby occurs when a baby is born bottom first instead of head first. Around 3-5% women between 37-40 weeks women will have have a breech baby. The symptoms include cramps from the baby's kicks on the lower abdomen instead and upward of the fetus head.

The complication of a Breech Baby
A small blood loss for either the baby or the mother. Fetal distress can lead to a emergency cesarean delivery. The baby will move into the proper delivery position, when this fails to happen, the baby's buttocks or feet will be delivered first, after it can lead to damage to internal organs and damage to blood vessels.
Can a Breech baby be prevented?
It is preferable to try to turn a breech baby if it hasn't so. Between the 32nd - 37th weeks of pregnancy is best to discuss the options with health care provider which methods the doctor proffers. External Version has a high success rate. However, this procedure becomes harder to do as the due date becomes closer.
