Winds
global and local
Global winds
Blow across continents ,winds follow curved patterns due to the coriolis effect. Types of global winds are polar easterlies, westerlies, and trade winds. The coriolis effect causes north winds to curve east ans the winds going south to curve west. They blow all over the world that is why they are called global winds.
Local winds
Local winds are only in a small amount of land due to local heat patterns. Examples of local winds are sea and land breezes. The local winds are not as big as the global winds. Local winds are not strong enough to go around the globe so they are just in a local area.
