ORRJHS Week Ahead

9/13/21 - 9/17/21 - for Parents, Guardians & Students

Thursday, September 16th 6-8 pm - Open House

An email was sent yesterday with an attached letter, student schedule, and school map. (9/14)

Due to COVID safety guidelines I strongly request that only one parent/guardian per child attends the open house. This is a parent/guardian event only. There is not enough room in the building to include your children.

Also, masks are mandated for all people in school buildings.

Thank you for your cooperation in these matters.

Latex Free School

Dear ORRJHS Families,

We have people in the building with severe allergies to latex. For everyone's safety we cannot allow latex items into the school building. This includes balloons and stress balls, these items contain latex.

Thank you for your cooperation the health and wellbeing of our community depends on complying with this restriction.

Thank you,

Principal Coellner

Quarantined Students

Unfortunately, this year we will still have students that will have to quarantine. We spread out the students in the cafeteria to minimize close contacts, but it is impossible with the space we have to eliminate close contacts in the cafeteria.

"Test and Stay" for in school close contacts is not up an running yet. We have done our part and look forward to having a field testing team assigned to our school.

Should you get a call from Nurse Deveau to inform you that your child must quarantine please don't shoot the messenger. We are all doing our best to keep kids in school and safe.
