A Message From Your Principal
Principal's Message
Glenwood Gator Families
This week is a special week as there is an extra day in the month of February. Thursday, we celebrate February 29, which only happens every four years. It is known as Leap Day. This intercalary day that usually occurs every four years is called leap day. This day is added to the calendar in leap years as a corrective measure because the Earth does not orbit the Sun in precisely 365 days.
I am excited that it is one extra day in 2024 to Go on an ADVENTURE by reading something new. Make an effort with your family to read and learn something new each day but, especially on Leap Day.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Counselor's Communication
Dear Glenwood families,
It’s been an honor to be Glenwood’s School Counselor since 2013. I love being at this awesome school!
With support from Mrs. Vivian, and our dedicated teachers, I have been able to facilitate over 40 classroom lessons to date. Topics include Emotional Regulation, Healthy Coping tools, Conflict Resolution and more.
School counseling programs across our nation have grown as our communities see the need for this important school service.
My goal is to always provide focused interventions, meaningful student support groups, engaging classroom lessons and more! I appreciate your continued support.
If you have any questions about our counseling program, feel free to reach out.
