Announcement for Parents with Pre-School Aged Children
Maryville City Schools will offer pre-kindergarten classes at each elementary school next year. Each classroom will be an integrated pre-K (IPK) program where children from families who meet income requirements learn alongside children with disabilities and peer models. The IPK will be a program that offers preschoolers with and without disabilities challenging experiences through a curriculum emphasizing social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. The integrated pre-k program follows the Maryville City Schools calendar. Students of families who meet income requirements may attend free of charge. Pre-Kindergarten applications are being accepted now. Details of the program and applications may be found at:
https://www.maryville-schools.org/parentsstudents/preschool
(Applications are under the Application Forms Tab - "Integrated PreK Application"
Applications may also be found at all elementary schools in the front office.
Thanks!
Thank you to Scott and Angel Greer with Crafted Jolt for serving the John Sevier faculty, staff, and families last month. We were pleased to get to enjoy some delicious coffee beverages. We were honored to receive your donation of 10% of your sales on that day for The Fox’s Burrow.
