From the Principal's Office...
It is that time of year. The days are noticeably shorter and it is definitely colder.
Getting outside and getting fresh air and movement is an important part of our school day. The research is clear, movement gets oxygen to brain cells and improves concentration and learning. We go outside every day unless there is rain or wind chills under 10 degrees.
Please be sure that your child brings appropriate cold-weather clothing for recess. It is that time of the year for coats, hats and gloves, and boots for wet days. Snowpants weather isn't far off!
If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher. We don't argue with moms and dads, we will ensure that children wear the clothing you provide. On wet days, children who do not have boots may be asked to stay on the blacktop during recess.
St. Therese and Sts. Cyril and Methodius, pray for us!

Virtue of the Week October 24-30: Industriousness
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You have given me the gift of this day, the gift of this moment. Help me to use my time well. Give me the grace to do all for Your greater glory.
Listen to the Virtue Minute to learn about Sts. Cyril and Methodius and the virtue of Industriousness!
Trunk or Treat-October 28
Our plan is to parade just around the corner to Mrs. Betty's house and then circle back to school for Trunk or Treating fun. If you would like to participate by volunteering to decorate your trunk and hand out treats, please contact Jessica in the office. For the safety of our students, volunteers must be Virtus trained and have a current criminal background check on file.
Key Cards for Sale
The new 2023 KeyCard coupon books are now available in the school office. The price is $30 and includes a coupon book and unlimited use card valid at hundreds of area merchants. Start saving today through December 31, 2023. Our profit is $15 per sale which goes to Home and School to pay for field trips and other school events.
If you would like to purchase a book (or more), please contact the school office.
Holy Relics of the Saints
Thursday, November 17th at 6:30 PM in St. Margaret’s Church, there will be an awesome presentation of sacred relics. You will learn of the saints, and their history, and have a chance to touch your rosaries to the relics, creating 3 class relics. Spend time in veneration and prayer.
Help Needed
The virtual auction during Catholic Schools Week is a big hit and raises money for our Home and School group. They support so many of the activities and extras through the year. In order to have donations for the auction, we need to start now. We have everything you need to get going, we just need someone to help us put it all together. If you are willing to help, let us know!
