Welcome to the Miiller Jr. High Counselor page! We hope this can be a useful tool for students, parents and staff to find resources and ideas which may help.

Miller Jr. High has two counselors: Cathy Trusty and Thad Williams.

We wear many "hats" some of which are: consulting/collaborating with students, parents and staff; crisis prevention/response; advisory lesson development; state testing; scheduling; college/career consulting; facilitating meetings and addressing students' needs. These are just some of the things we offer. Please do not hesitate to contact either of us with questions or concerns. We are here to help.

Our mission at Miller Jr. High Counseling Center is to provide a comprehensive guidance program that will support and enhance the social/emotional and academic development of all our students. Remote learning is a challenging time for many parents. Some things to keep in mind:

  1. Help your child establish and maintain a routine.
  2. Check with your child's teachers.
  3. Encourage physical activity
  4. Take care of yourself!
