SoTL Commons Conference Call for Proposals
The SoTL Commons is an international conference with an intimate feel – listen to high quality presentations from nationally and internationally recognized speakers and join in conversations on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) with a community of scholars from around the world.

Affordable Learning Georgia is issuing a Request for Proposals for two rounds of Affordable Materials Grants. Visit No Cost/Low Cost Options for Courses for more information about Open Educational Resources (OER) at Georgia Southern.

Teaching Online Courses (TOC) Program
Teaching Online Courses? The GS Distance Education Policy states that faculty must complete training with the Center for Teaching Excellence in order to teach online courses. Completion of the Teaching Online Courses (TOC) program fulfills this requirement.

Not new to teaching online? The Improving Your Online Course (IYOC) workshop explores the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online courses. It’s not too late to register for the November session!
