DRESS DOWN DAY
DONATE FOR THE PHILIPPINES TYPHOON HAIYAN AID
FIRST BAPTIST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL WANTS TO HELP
Dear Parents,
As the many videos and photos begin to surface, showcasing the devastating effects that Typhoon Haiyan had on the Philippines, First Baptist Christian School wants to help out in any way that we can. In connection with the Cayman Islands Red Cross, First Baptist Christian School will be hosting a Dress Down Day on Friday, November 22, 2013, to aid in relief efforts to the people of the Philippines. Please allow your child to dress down in red, yellow or blue colours (the colours of the Filipino flag) and donate what you can, to this most worthy cause.
First Baptist Christian School sends a big thank you in advance for your donations and constant support.
"If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be." Deuteronomy 15:7-8
