NEW INFO
Checking Student Grades and Behavior
1. To check behavior, see Kickboard. There is a Kickboard app, FYI. Or log in through www.kickboardforschools.com If you are having trouble logging into Kickboard, try this trick: Login: student first initial and last name DASH 6uu (ebowles-6uu) Password: Their typical login password (same number twice).
2. To check missing assignments, see Kickboard. We have added this feature.
3. To see specific day-to-day progress of your student, see Canvas. Your child should log in for you. The parent app will be up and running soon. See graphic below for how to check the Canvas gradebook.
4. To see overall progress toward grade level standard mastery, check IC. Teachers will update IC monthly through December and twice a month beginning in January. Students have ALL YEAR to reach mastery of standards. You will not see this change substantially throughout the year. If you do not have a Parent Portal login, we will be available to hand them out from 5-8pm on Tuesday this week in the main office.
5. No need to check Edulastic or Mastery Connect this year. Those are just tools we'll use in house to assess mastery.
CLIFF NOTES
1. If you just want to know if they are behaving and turning work in, Kickboard is your tool.
2. If you'd like to see progress from day to day, you will also want to check Canvas.
3. IC is something to check randomly through the year to see how they are progressing for an end of year score.
4. No Edulastic or Mastery Connect. Forget we even mentioned them.
To check daily grades in Canvas...

REPEAT INFO
Bally + Kroger = 4% Cash Back
We are LIVE with Kroger Community Rewards. Kroger will give Bally 4% of your grocery bill and they will never take anything away from you (including your fuel points). Just go to kroger.com and connect your plus card to our school. Here's a video to show you how simple it is!!
PS: If 100 people spend $100 a week on groceries, each person earns our school $4 per week. $10,000 for Kroger AND $400 for Bally. If we add that up over the course of a year...that's $20,800 for Bally to spend on ipads and programs and nets to keep the basketballs in the play area and soccer goals and club sponsors and so, so much more. Please connect. Please. Begging.

Message from Cooper HS
Cooper High School would like to welcome all middle school students to support our Jags at the various sports and extracurricular activities throughout the school year. We would like to remind parents and students of the rules for participating in events on our campus.
ALL STUDENTS WILL FOLLOW THE BOONE COUNTY CODE OF CONDUCT ON CAMPUS.
- Please do not bring any footballs, basketballs or other equipment into the sporting facility to be used during a game.
- Students should engage in appropriate fan and sportsman conduct during the game. (No foul language, running up and down walk ways or stands, fighting, etc.)
- Any behavior deemed inappropriate could result in the student being asked to leave the game.
- Parents should be available to address issues the administration could need assistance in with your child.
- Any issues will be reported the student’s home school to follow up with administration. We look forward to a great season. Go Jags.
