THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS ITS PACK
August 18, 2023
4H collaborated to put this puzzle together and reveal the message, “we are problem solvers”. They each had 2 puzzle pieces and had to figure out where their piece to the puzzle went.
More hidden messages to come from other fourth grade classrooms!
I have the best job in the world! Part of my work is observing wonderful teachers create captivating learning experiences and environments for our students. Parents, your children are fantastically different, and we prize their individuality and how each one of them contributes to our school character.
This week we spent a majority of our time getting to know our new classmates, classroom routines, and new teachers, so we can operate as a community of learners. When the students have had a moment to rest and collect their thoughts, please ask them to share their highlights. Our Wasco staff is here for your family. Please reach out if you have questions about our programming or the progress of your child. We are looking forward to our next all school events together:

We are excited to announce that 88 students participated in the St Charles Public Library Summer Reading Program. One of our students read 10,000 minutes! We are honoring these participants by sharing a Wasco Book Vending Machine token with them this week! Thank you parents for your support of building future readers by connecting your child with our libraries!

This is my fourth year teaching. I taught 1st grade for two years, and 3rd grade for one. I’m excited to be joining the fourth grade team! Also, while I didn’t grow up in Wasco, I played softball for the Wasco Diamonds which is right down the road. Wasco very much feels like home to me. I’m so excited to be joining the Pack.
