Welcome Back to the 2014/2015 School Year
September 23, 2014
Welcome to all of our returning, new students and families to Coyote Creek Elementary for the 2014/15 school year.
We are looking forward to our 21st year, as we get ready for over 620 full time students. As in previous years, we have calculated how many students have moved out of our catchment over the summer and how many new registrations we received, and our enrolment has increased slightly from last year. As of Tuesday afternoon, we are waiting to hear from the school district if this increase in student numbers will mean we are getting another division. As soon as we hear how many divisions we will have, our staff will work towards getting students into their new classes for the 2014/15 school year, as soon as possible.
Kindergarten students have their own gradual entry schedules and that information has been communicated to families. Thanks for your patience and we look forward to another great year at Coyote Creek.
Information about our School
Coyote Creek tries to correspond with families using e-mail as much as possible. Please ensure that you have signed up for the Newsletter on our school’s website at www.surreyschools.ca/coyotecreek, so you don’t miss out on any important school news.
Nut Free Zone
This is a peanut/nut safe zone as we have some students that have severe peanut/nut allergies to these foods. For their safety, please do NOT send your child with any peanut/nut items.
For your convenience we have a 24 hour a day answering machine to let us know if your child is going to be absent that day, or if your child is going to arrive late. This is for the safety of your child(ren) and we would appreciate a call to the office before 8:30 a.m. if you have kept your child home for any reason. If we do not hear from you we will try all your contact numbers to make sure your child is safe. Thank you.
