Requisition Orders for Next School Year - PAST DUE!!!!
The following staff members: Ruggles, Fournier, Keenan, Smith, LeBlanc, Roy, Thompson, Clark, Newton, Haynes, Hanna, and Tattan, Weinberg, Koetsch, Regan, and Ward each have a limit of $500 to spend. This does NOT include workbooks, which need to be written up on separate requisition orders. All office supplies and software needs to be included in this allotted amount. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER PAPER CLIPS, AS WE HAVE TONS! Paper clips will not be approved items.
The deadline to turn in all requisition orders to JOANNE was THURSDAY, MAY 31ST. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF ALL INFORMATION IS NOT PROVIDED (ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, FAX NUMBER, SHIPPING ETC.), THEY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND PLACED BACK IN YOUR MAILBOX. Thank you!
Citizen of the Month
Just a reminder, only one month left for Citizen of the Month . . .PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR MAY'S NAME BY JUNE 1ST.
The Pillars of Character Education
Petersham Center School is going to emphasize the Pillars of Character Education: Compassion, Fairness, Integrity, Perseverance, Responsibility, Respect, and Self-Discipline for our Citizen of the Month Program going forward. Below is a brief description of each remaining pillar for this school year.
At each Student Assembly, a student will be announced from each class who was an exemplary model of the pillar of the month, given a certificate signed by the Principal, their picture will be hung in the cafeteria, and a PCS Citizen of the Month cinch bag.

Change in date for PCS Field Day
Sue Tattan will once again be running our PCS Field Day. Due to her work schedule other than at PCS, our Field Day will be held on Wednesday, June 6th rain or shine. If we are inside, she will have planned activities that can be held throughout the school.
Before Field Day:
Band and Chorus will perform a concert for the whole school from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to the beginning of Field Day.
Lunch:
Please note that each class will be called down to get lunch. Reminder that all students will be sitting on the cafe floor, so they should be bringing a beach towel.

-Monday, June 4th: 8:45 a.m. - Band Concert (where families are invited to; school will not be attending - only rehearsal for students)
-Wednesday, June 6th: 8:45 a.m. - Band Concert for whole school (to take place prior to Field Day Activities) - families will also now be attending this concert
