APA Dance Performance
Luce Road ECLC students were treated to a dance performance from the Academy of Performing Arts! The dancers did a melody of Disney songs and our students enjoyed singing along to the songs!
2024-2025 School Year Calendar
Although we are just over the halfway point for this year, the school has already released the calendar for next school year.
A pdf version of the calendar is hyperlinked to the image, if you would like to print it.
2024-2025 School Enrollment
Enrollment for our GSRP (Great Start to Readiness Preschool) classrooms is open for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have or know of someone who has a child who is ready for preschool, must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2024, please use the link attached HERE to begin the enrollment process.
Please safe the date for our Kindergarten Round-Up event that is scheduled for April 4, 4:30-5:30pm & 6:00-7:00pm. More information will be coming soon.
Weather Changes
Please remember to send your students with clothes for the cooler temps. We had some warmer weather this week, but it will be much cooler this week. Please make sure they are coming with layers, hats, gloves, and coats!
Transportation Changes
If you need to make a transportation change for your student, it must be communicated to the office before 1 p.m. The end of the day is very hectic at an elementary school and messages are not always able to get to teachers after 1 pm.
Thank you for being so understanding in this situation!
Speech Universal Screening
Our speech pathologists are implementing a new process by offering speech screening for all students. Your child brought home a consent form on Friday in their orange folder. If you would like your child to have a speech screening completed, please sign the consent form and send back to your child's teacher.
APS App/Rooms
Please make sure you are using and checking the APS app, Rooms. This is the way your teacher will communicate with you throughout the year about all the great things going on in your classroom.
Also, make sure to turn on notification!
Child Care
If you or someone you know is in need of child care for your 2.5-4 year old, we still have spots available. Click the picture to begin enrollment or call the office to schedule a tour; 989-463-1-012

Building Expectations
As part of our building expectations, students earn Panther Paws throughout the day when they are following their ROARS and Volume Level Expectations. Each week we focus on a different area of the building. This week we will be focusing on "How do we play together?"
Mrs. Hancock will also share an episode from the Little Spots of Emotion book series about Boredom.
At the end of the week, Mrs. Hancock and Sunny complete a Panther Paw drawing. A student from each classroom is drawn as the Panther Paw student of the week and they are able to choose a prize from Mrs. Hancock's prize box.
