Area 31 brings to you another week packed with stimulating events! Stories make us see things in all their greatness, Learn how to use stories as a marketing strategy in the Storytelling Workshop on Tuesday. Do you have a startup and you don't know yet what is Growth Hacking? Join us on Wednesday to learn some tactics and hacks, Workshop on Growth Hacking. On Thursday we have our Monthly Get Together for the Startups from Area 31 Incubator and our weekly pitch slam, Venture Network Weeklies an opportunity to network with investors and entrepreneurs over beers!

Storytelling Workshop

Pablo Laporte is a an expert in applying storytelling as a communication skill and a marketing strategy. He has already helped around 50 companies and startups to find and tell their story. Why stories? Because they are just a complete vehicle for transmitting ideas, visions and future worlds and to move the brain and heart of who listens to us. Stories makes us see things in all its greatness.

Venture Network Weeklies

Join us for another round of Venture Network Weeklies this week. Come see startups give a 7-minute pitch in English, hear feedback from the panel of investors, ask the startups your own questions, and meet the local startup community. This weekly event is an informal way to learn and network with people from within and outside of IE while enjoying a beer from our sponsor, Heineken.

Area 31 Get Together - October

This is the monthly catchup of the startups which are a part of the current intake of Incubator in Area 31. These meetings provide for an opportunity to the teams to share the challenges they are facing and their achievements in the last few weeks in an informal environment.

The Incubator in Area 31 is at the very heart of IE Business School's world class environment. Overall, startups in our Incubator have access to up to $150,000 worth of services including free office space, mentoring, training, technical support, free services from our corporate partners and extensive networking opportunities.

Innovation Cheque
Innovation Cheque is an initiative by the Madrid Community. Their objective is to finance innovation projects of SMEs (small &medium enterprises) developed by third parties, thus encouraging the use of services innovation in SMEs for hiring with Technology Centers, Universities and Research Organizations involving a transfer of knowledge of scientific, technological or innovative nature. Amount of aid is up-to € 11,000 (repayable) open until funds are exhausted. For more information, you can write an email to info@valdur.es with the subject "Innovation Cheque”
