St Joseph's Catholic Primary School
Weekly Newsletter 26.10.23
This week...
As we reach the end of the first half term, I would like to thank all our families for the support you have given to your children and to St Joseph's. I can't explain just how heartening it is to see so many happy faces joining us each week for our Friday celebration assemblies!
I want to personally thank all of our amazing staff for their hard work and dedication this half term. It's been a long one! Not a day goes by though, when I don't walk through school, look at the incredible things going on, and feel so proud of the love, nurture, exciting experiences and fantastic learning our staff provide for our children.
I'm sure I'm not alone in recognising how ace they all are, so if you would like to share some kind and encouraging words, please use the button below - it only takes a minute!
Don't forget - tomorrow school will be closed to pupils for our staff training day! Have a fantastic half term holiday and I look forward to seeing you again in November so we can continue to...
Live, love and learn with the Lord.

Mini Vinnies
We are so proud of our Mini Vinnies, who work hard to put their faith into action.
We will let you know when it's finished...!
Open Classroom - Y2
First Holy Communion
Our parish priest, Father Sean, will begin the preparation sessions with the children within school time after half term.
Reminder: If you would like your child to be included, please make sure you complete the form below:
Support our community swimming pool!
As you may know, several of our ex-pupils have gone on to swim competitively, partly because of the amount of time and swimming experience we have been able to offer them in school hours.
Now, our swimming pool needs us to step up, as it faces difficulties - please see the poster below to find out how you can support our pool!
Open the Book Worship
We had so much fun bringing God's Word to life with interactive drama! Our brave and enthusiastic children wasted no time in getting stuck in and sharing their acting talents!
We are delighted to have organised for the Bridge Project to come into school to share their joy and faith with us every fortnight. Hurray!
This week we have been learning...
St Nicholas (Nursery and Preschool)
St Francis (Reception / Y1)
St Bernadette (Y2)
St Patrick (Y3/4)
St Therese (Y5/6)
A message from the Friends of St Joseph's
