Principals Word
As Term three comes to an end, I want to say a big thank you to all our community for adjusting and supporting the many changes and procedures we have been through over the past weeks as we have moved down alert levels. We have our fingers crossed for levels to continue to go down, so we can come together with our community in planned events such as Pasifika in the Bay which we are hosting early term 4.
A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to support, teach and nurture our children.
We are all looking forward to term 4, which is always a fun term with graduations, fun days, Christmas assemblies, senior school camps and typically some good weather!
Have a happy holiday together and fingers crossed for sunshine.

Congratulations to these talented students who represented their classrooms in the Year 5/6 speech competition today. They were all outstanding and we were very impressed with the content and delivery of all speeches. A huge congratulations to Koula Room 10 who was awarded 1st place with her speech on Tonga

We have another Big Brother/ Mentor at our kura. Veveni joined GVS just before Lockdown.

Please note that this day Wednesday 27th October will be a teacher only day, as all staff will have responsibilities throughout the day hosting the festival and supporting our students who are performing ❤️
KidzROCK 2021
The KidzROCK conference is back in 2021 and GVS will be sending 15 talented tamariki to represent our Kura in 2 bands, GreVouS & GeForce.
When: 6:30pm, Thursday 25th November Week 6, Term 4.(If at Level 1)
Where: Selwyn Ridge School, 20 Holmburn Street, Welcome Bay, Tauranga.

Our beautiful new sponsorship signs are up and are looking incredibly amazing. One for our bike track and one for our fabulous Community Garden.
