UPDATES: Aligning Language Arts Content for ELLs: Support for Secondary Teachers & Support Staff
(This training was formerly called ELL - ELA CRM Training.)
Training Description: A collaboration of the Department of ELLs and Language Arts Teaching & Learning Team, these trainings are designed to be hands-on, practical, and timely.
Participants will:
- Receive classroom library books to support Austin ISD's Literacy Plan.
- Observe and practice sheltered strategies modeled in an interactive training.
- Leave with at least one resource and one tool for addressing grade level gaps with ELLs.
- Spend focused time brainstorming and collaborating with colleagues.
- Take time to share ideas in a supportive learning community.
- Please register in advance via the Cloud on HCP: Course #80810.
- Subs will be paid for all teachers.
- Please bring your laptop.
