2019 Black Light Show
We're about to begin rehearsals for "Ghosts," the 2019 Black Light Show. Almost every rehearsal will be conducted in class. One mandatory dress rehearsal will be held after school Tuesday, October 22, from 3:00-5:30. Attendance will be for a significant amount of points. I started emailing that date on August 1st, so I'm hoping everyone has it on their calendars.
Black Light shows for the public will be held Monday, October 28th. Times will be 5:30, 6:15, and 7:00. Class periods have not been assigned to those times YET, but I'll make that information available soon.
Black Light Show Grading
Black Light T-Shirts
Everyone must purchase a black light shirt for the show. It is part of our costume. (The document you completed at the beginning of the year included the students' t-shirt sizes, so all you have to do is send in your money.) Students will also wear solid black pants and solid black socks. Any reflective or white logos must be colored with a Sharpie or covered with black electrical tape. We've discussed this in class, so students know the expectations for the costume pieces they are providing.
Shirts will be $10, and money for shirts will be taken up September 30-October 4 ONLY. I'll place the order on the afternoon of the 4th. If your money is not turned in on time and I have to place a separate order, the cost will go up to $17.

Thank you, in advance, for your willingness to help!
Lion King Auditions
Auditions for the spring show, The Lion King, will be held Tuesday, November 5, for last names A-M, and Wednesday, November 6, for last names N-Z.
The audition form link will open in a few days. There will be parts for singers only, dancers only, singers and dancers, and lead roles. More information will be announced over the intercom in the coming days.
Classroom Policies
Students have one week to make up classwork or tests. There'll be a "1" in iNow for a week. After one week, the grade will turn into a "0" if other arrangements have not been made.
Participation can make or break a student!
When students choose not to participate at all, or choose not to participate APPROPRIATELY, weekly participation grades will drop. Participation grades can significantly bring students' grades up or down. I hope everyone chooses to participate appropriately.
