South Grove Science Fair

Sixth Grade Takes on Science Fair

Science Is Cool!

Sixth grade students at South Grove had an opportunity this year to participate in the annual science fair held each year in February. Students submitted a written proposal with their topic ideas and testing procedures to their science teachers hoping to be chosen. Each class then had student representatives sent to participate in a 3 week study of science fair with Mrs. Bair held in room 103. In addition to designing a test and project board, students performed research and wrote a 5 to 6 page paper explaining their journey!

All of the teachers and staff at South Grove, along with myself, are extremely proud of these students for taking on this challenge and extra learning opportunity! Our three top placing students will be invited to attend the Central Indiana Regional Science Fair held at Marion University in March! ~ We wish them luck!

Congratulations to all participants for your achievement!
