There will be another opportunity to order books. I will send out this information as soon as I have it.
Morning Drop-Off
Please be aware of the cars behind you when you drop off for band or Kid Ventures. Make sure to pull up so as not to block others. Parking spaces are readily available if you have to make a phone call after dropping off your child. Please be respectful of the other parents who also have places to go. Thank you for understanding!
Spring Break--March 5-13
Daylight Saving Time
Changes with Safety Protocols
- Masks will be optional beginning on Monday, Feb. 21st. Each child/family/staff member has this option and should not face any negative recourse for exercising their choice. I have reiterated this on morning announcements this week, and hope this is fully understood.
- After Spring Break, students arriving before 8:20 will go to the playground in the morning. Students eating breakfast will still be able to do so beginning at 7:50, and then they will proceed to the playground. Please note that supervision on the playground will start at 7:55, and students not attending Kid Ventures should not arrive before that time.
- After Spring Break, parents/guardians will be allowed to join your child for lunch at one of the tables in the commons area. Please know that we don't have a lot of extra space due to our enrollment. Parents and guests will need to pay for a school lunch if planning to have a hot lunch. It is best to have money in your child's lunch account for this purpose; this will make the process smooth.
- Due to building security, parents and guests are not allowed to wait inside the building in the morning or afternoon. This includes not walking students to class; our kiddos are doing great with this.
Northfield All School Art Show at the Northfield Arts Guild
The Northfield All School Art Show with the theme “Better Together” is back this year! Congratulations to the 60 of our Bridgewater artists who had their work selected this year for the NAG art show and they will be bringing home white letters with postcards attached this week. We would love to include all of our wonderful artists from Bridgewater, but we have to share the gallery space with the other schools in Northfield and our wall space is limited. The artwork will be displayed Wednesday 2/9/22 through Saturday 3/12/22 at the Northfield Arts Guild on Division Street in downtown Northfield.
A public reception called the “Imagination Celebration” will be held Saturday, February 26th from 10am -2pm. All students, families, guardians, and friends are invited to enjoy the free visual art show, theater performances, art activities, and musical performances during this special day. I will be present in the gallery from 1-2 p.m.
I hope that you can attend this event to see the outstanding display of talent by Northfield’s young artists. If you are unable to attend the “Imagination Celebration” you may view the show during regular gallery hours. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 12–5pm Saturday: 11am–4pm. Congratulations to our BW artists and keep up the great work everyone!
