What's Happening in Spring
K-2 Dual Language Teacher CRIMSI Stipend Opportunity! Submit your form by Friday, September 2nd!
Are you a K-2 Dual Language Teacher?
With the new implementation of K-2 Spanish Amplify we are asking all K-2 Dual Language Teachers to participate in CRIMSI this for the 2022-2023 school year.
To receive the stipend participants must:
*Attend 9 90-minutes learning sessions
*Participate in 4 virtual small group sessions
*Submit exit tickets
*Submit a survey for each end-of-unit/module assessment
*Submit 5 feedback surveys
Participation in CRIMSI comes with many benefits, such as planning and implementation supports, content- and product-specific professional learning and communities of practice, access to print and digital materials, stipends, and more.

Spring ISD Astros Night & Ticket Drawing
Our Super Proud Superintendent has been invited to join the Houston Astros on Friday, September 16, 2022 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch! We would love for some of our Spring ISD leaders to enjoy this great event. We are doing a drawing, per Campus and Central Office Division, to receive free tickets. 2 employee per campus and Central Office Division will win a set of 2 tickets to attend and enjoy this ceremonial first pitch, as well as to watch the Houston Astros take on the Oakland A's!

2022-2023 Multilingual Secondary Summit K12 Intervention Plan
This document outlines the 2022-2023 Secondary Summit K12 Intervention Plan to support the English language development and academic achievement of Emergent Bilingual students participating in the ESL program who are enrolled in the ELLA (Grades 6-8) and ELDA (Grades 9-12) courses as well as the English Reading Enrichment (elective) courses offered in grades 6-8. For more specific guidance refer to the attached document.

Spring ISD ST Math Launch Day
Spring ISD Elementary Scholars are you ready to take learning to the next level and blast off with JiJi?
Well on September 1st Spring ISD will kick-off and celebrate ST Math Launch Day. On ST Math Launch Day all students will meet JiJi the penguin and begin a journey to deepen their mathematical understanding. ST Math Launch Day will allow campuses the opportunity to celebrate their future mathematicians and all scholars will be encouraged to dress like a penguin or wear penguin colors/accessories.
