This week we talked about safety and the letter J. The kids were very interested in talking about Tornado safety. They all wanted to tell me how they stayed safe last Friday, what they heard, and how they felt.

Our Thanksgiving party will be on Friday (11/18) from 1:15-2. Each child is allowed 2 guests. You have to RSVP with names of the guests to either Mrs Puetz or Mrs Hardy at the front desk. This has to be done by Thursday 11/17 @ Noon. The kids will be making a cornucopia snack with an ice cream cone and fruit. If you would like to send anything for the party, please feel free to do so. It does have to be prepackaged for us to serve it and we have 17 kids in our class. You are able to sign your child out when they are done.

Make sure you go on the Lamar County Head Start facebook and check out all the Veterans day Programs. The kids worked really hard.

I will be scheduling conferences for next week and the week we get back from Thanksgiving Break. It can be in person or over a Zoom if need be. Let me know if and when you would like to schedule.
