High School Selection Notice
Next year's sophomores & juniors have a high school option
Good Evening,
As you know, the District’s fourth high school is currently under construction near the intersection of West Meyer Road and North Point Prairie Road in Wentzville. It is scheduled to open next year with freshman, sophomores and juniors. You have been identified as living in the new high school boundaries and having a student who will be a sophomore or junior during the 2021-2022 school year. The Board of Education has approved the new high school boundaries as well as the following guidelines for who will attend the new school:
Students who are currently in 8th grade for the 2020-2021 school year will be assigned to a high school based on their residential address.
Students who are currently in 9th or 10th grade for the 2020-2021 school year will have the option to remain at their current high school (through graduation and without District-provided transportation) or transfer to the new high school.
Students who are currently in 11th grade for 2020-2021 will continue to attend their current high school for their senior year.
The form to make your selection for your student who will be a sophomore or junior next year has been activated on the Parent Portal. Please make your selection to have your student stay at their current high school or attend the new high school by September 25, 2020.
If you have any questions, please contact the Administrative Services Department or email carolmay@wsdr4.org.
