Cedar Ridge Elementary
Weekly Update 4/3
A Note from Dr. Bedsworth
Dearest Cedar Families,
I wanted to take a moment to give you just a couple of details in hopes of alleviating a little stress!
First, I'd like to encourage all of you to make sure you communicate with your child's teacher(s) via either See Saw or Dojo, or whatever virtual platform your teacher uses for communication. This way, students can find out how to Zoom and see their teacher and friends during the week and connect with others. This helps so much when everyone is isolated. It will also assist us in finding out who needs what type of resources in order to connect!
Information is coming early next week regarding work packets. Stay tuned to district communication for announcements. And remember, information is changing on a daily basis. The district is working currently on plans A, B, C, D, and all the way to Z! What comes next depends much on our local and state government. So, stay tuned and information will be given to you as it becomes available to our district. And then, it may change again.
Our monthly newsletter is now coming to you on Thursday each week. It will contain information you will need to know as we proceed into uncharted territory with this COVID-19 virus and how it affects our day to day lives. The Grab-N-Go lunch schedule is in this week's newsletter and a few other pieces of information you will want to know.
Lastly, please do not think you or your child are behind in school! There will not be any new material presented during the time we are out of school. Our goal is to remain connected with our families and to be a resource for you. Our teachers are masters at changing course at a moment's notice and whenever we are back in school, we will meet your child exactly where they are academically and emotionally. WE got this! Remember, we are all one big family and will look out for each other. #CRFamily! Please let us know if we can do anything for you! Stay safe and healthy!
A Letter from the Librarian
Remember to visit the Cedar Ridge website (https://www.cpsk12.org/cre) to access a variety of resources to supplement your child’s learning. The “Student Resources” tab includes a link to the Classlink Portal where students can log in to access eBooks, digital magazines, databases, and other content. You’ll also find links to instructional (and entertaining) videos from Mrs. Renwick, Mr. Szabo, and Mr. Simons. Additional links will be added to the “Student Resources” area each week, so check back often. Feel free to contact me at email@example.com if you have questions or suggestions to add to the website. Thanks!
Words from the Counselor
Mrs. Boyer is available by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Her office hours are 8-10 Monday-Friday.
The video sent through some teachers is not working. She is looking at different avenues to deliver information.

If you would still like to place an order, go to: sales.yearbookmarket.com, and type the school name in the search bar.
