Monday Memo

From the Principal.......

Greetings! I hope everyone has had a great spring break and ready to kick of our last quarter of the school year. I can hardly believe we are in the last nine weeks! As usual, the last nine weeks is super busy. Administrators will be completing formal evaluations by April 1st. We are preparing for state testing to begin April 11-22nd. We will also be starting our 2016-2017 budgeting and staffing process. There is never a shortage of work to be done. In the upcoming weeks, you'll be asked to complete the Title I Campus Improvement Survey. This gives us an opportunity to hear from you as a staff about setting priorities in budgeting and planning.

The 4 quarter stretch is sometimes a tough one! There's a lot going on, with no scheduled out of school breaks. It looks like we might have made it through the year with no snow days (Knock on wood). However it is time to gear up and be prepared for severe weather season. Please review tornado procedures with your classroom. Ms. Wood will be conducting tornado drills very soon as a refresher.

Atomic Learning

Please log into your Atomic Learning accounts and check for any incomplete training that has been assigned or recommended. Training for classroom management, special education, gifted and talented has been assigned to appropriate users, such as first year and emergency certified teachers. Other trainings have been sent to users if appropriate. Thank you for checking on this.

Speaking of Atomic Learning....we've done some data analysis and have noticed that our top ten users have actually been our Support Staff! Great job! We appreciate your hard work and dedication to furthering your skills and contributing to our success! A complete list will be posted in the office conference room!

The training listed below is optional, but very informative. As you all have learned, classroom management with 1:1 technology can be different. This is great training and tips for you!
