Money Mammals Information
The Westerly Community Credit Union is offering a new program called Money Mammals to teach children important money skills. There are no more bank days at school however, your child can continue to use their account and make deposits at a WCCU branch. WCCU made this change so more students and families can benefit from the program which offers a variety of fun learning activities including on-line games, books and other resources. The attached PDF file explains it in more detail. The link below provides easy access to the Money Mammals program.
WCCU feels strongly that educating young people today will create better informed adults for tomorrow. They are committed to Financial Education and proudly sponsor school programs that teach our youth lifelong financial literacy skills that will better prepare them for their future. All programs sponsored solely by WCCU. For more information, contact Kim Gates, WCCU Financial Education Officer at (401) 596-7000 ext. 2124 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Lost and Found Items
Just a reminder that our September "Lost and Found" bin is already overflowing. Staff will check lost clothing for name tags and actively seek to return items to their owners, but all unclaimed lost and found items will be held for two months and then bagged and donated to charity. If students are missing items, they should check the bins (which are located in the cafeteria).
