ATHE Resources for Online Teaching

The Association for Theatre in Higher Education, ATHE, offers links with resources for preexisting courses, theatre pedagogy sites, online theatre sites, online discussions, podcasts and livestreams, communication tools, guidelines, improv, online literacy training, scenic design, and journal articles.

In this link there are a wide variety of resources for helping Theatre educators transition to our changing circumstances and what online learning can look like with resources to get started. Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting specific programs from these lists as we go through the data collected in our feedback survey located at the top of the newsletter.

Music Education Online Resources

Music Teachers National Association

Transitioning to teaching Music courses online can be a challenge so the MTNA has provided an expansive list of free and subscription based online options for educators and students in: Music Game/Theory/History/Listening Websites, Symphony-Based Websites, Performer-Based Websites, as well as teacher resources for making the transition. Since we have a wide variety of subject areas in the Music community this list is a great jumping off point for providing resources to our students that are working to learn in a new way. Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting specific programs from these lists as we go through the data collected in our feedback survey located at the top of the newsletter.
