New School Year, New Excitement August 17, 2022...school is back in full swing! We had a great first week of school. Students and staff are working hard to make it a successful year. Students will enjoy their first break this weekend as JISD will be closed on Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day. | JISD Class of 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees The JISD Class of 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees will be presented at Friday night's Homecoming game, September 2nd. Don't miss out on the pre-game show. | Hoot Owl-ley SAVE THE DATE! Joshua ISD's annual Hoot Owl-ley is Friday, September 23rd at Owl Stadium from 5:30-6:45 pm. Hoot Owl-ley will include a vendor fair featuring items and snacks for purchase. Come out and root on the Owls against Midlothian Heritage, the game starts at 7 pm. |

Middle School families are invited to attend their child's campus on Tuesday, September 6th. | JROTC Navy BallTime to Celebrate! The JROTC Ball is on October 5, 2022. This year's guest speaker is Mr. Joey Jones, Wounded Warrior, and Fox News host. Our theme this year is Wounded Warrior/Purple Heart. Eight Wounded Warriors and Purple Heart recipients have been invited to attend. |

'A' Rating AgainJoshua ISD is excited to announce that the district has once again earned an "A" rating by the Texas Education Agency's STAAR State Accountability Rating. JISD received a score of 91 and earned a distinction in Postsecondary Readiness. The event featured the JHS band, cheer, ROTC, and dance team. It also included dozens of floats from various districts and area community organizations. This year's theme was "Grab your popcorn!
