New School Year, New Excitement
JISD Class of 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees
Hoot Owl-ley
Joshua ISD's annual Hoot Owl-ley is Friday, September 23rd at Owl Stadium from 5:30-6:45 pm. Hoot Owl-ley will include a vendor fair featuring items and snacks for purchase. Come out and root on the Owls against Midlothian Heritage, the game starts at 7 pm.

The JROTC Ball is on October 5, 2022. This year's guest speaker is Mr. Joey Jones, Wounded Warrior, and Fox News host. Our theme this year is Wounded Warrior/Purple Heart. Eight Wounded Warriors and Purple Heart recipients have been invited to attend.

'A' Rating Again
Joshua ISD is excited to announce that the district has once again earned an "A" rating by the Texas Education Agency's STAAR State Accountability Rating. JISD received a score of 91 and earned a distinction in Postsecondary Readiness.

TOP 60 IN TEXAS
Joshua ISD was ranked the 59th most equitable out of 1,016 districts in the state, according to a new WalletHub study, and #1 in Johnson County! Districts were scored based on two metrics: average household income and expenditures for public elementary and secondary schools per pupil.

As a reminder: parents, students, and community members can report bullying in Joshua ISD using three platforms:

This is information is helpful for those that ride the bus and need a refresher or someone new to riding the bus. First Student's E-Link system is to look up your child's bus number, bus stop, and pickup time. First Student’s First View app is to live track buses during the school year. First Student also uses the Remind app to allow for two-way communication with parents and guardians to relay bus delays or when a bus is combined with another bus. It also allows parents to text questions or concerns to First Student. Learn more and get your child's information here:
