The King's Ball-Awesome Father/Daughter Event-February 7
On Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 5:30 PM– 9:00 PM, ALL girls of TPCA and friends of our school families are invited to attend this exciting evening as we honor our daughters with a special night of dinner, games, dancing and wonderful Christian fellowship.
Whether you’ve been to The King’s Ball before or you’re coming for the first time, you’re in for a treat. This year, the Ball will be located at The Palomino Ballroom in Zionsville and will include a delicious buffet dinner. Register online at www.tpcadadsclub.com by January 30th! The evening is $65 per couple. Each additional person is $15. Please invite grandfathers, uncles, Bible study group members and all other friends who may be interested in sharing in this special evening.
This is a formal evening with our daughters, so have fun dressing up. Fathers, this is a chance to show them how special they are to us, as well as what it means to be a proper date and Christian gentleman, so they will expect and accept nothing less at the appropriate time!
We also need volunteers for this event as well! If you are interested in serving that evening at check-in, coat check, or any other capacity, please contact the TPCA Dad's Club at dadsclub@tpcs.org.

SGO Giving - and Receiving – Opportunity
You've likely seen information regarding our SGO giving opportunity, especially this past fall through December. Please know that this opportunity does not end on December 31st! We still have significant need to reach our goal and a contribution made now will simply apply to your 2015 taxes.
How is this also a RECEIVING opportunity? A gift to our SGO Scholarship fund entitles you to 50% - 85% off your gift (depending on your tax bracket)! This applies to both individuals AND businesses!
Every year Indiana allocates $7.5 million in tax credits for SGOs to offer individuals and businesses as an INCENTIVE to fund scholarships. This allows Indiana to GIVE YOU BACK 50% OF YOUR GIFT! However, this is not all. A gift to Traders Point Christian Academy’s SGO Scholarship fund entitles you to a 50% state tax credit PLUS federal deduction.* (See example.) This makes up the remaining potential savings.
This is a “no-brainer” for those with tax liability, giving you the opportunity to give a substantial gift to the school and even pay less than you owe already for state taxes. For example, let’s say you owe the state $1,500. If you give a gift for $3,000 (double what you owe), you receive $1,500 back in state tax CREDIT. Your out of pocket is STILL only $1,500, but TPCA gets your $3,000 gift! It doesn’t cost you a penny more; in fact, with the additional federal deduction*, you will ultimately pay less than $1,500 because you gave! With this opportunity, you owe less in taxes and the students in our school receive an education that will impact them for eternity!

SCRIP- Shop to Earn Cash Back for Tuition!
With scrip fundraising, families can easily earn cash for tuition for their own children (80%) and for the school (20%) while they shop.
Scrip is simple. Order gift cards, e-cards, reloadable or printable certificates for many places at which you shop, dine and play already and a percentage of what you spend comes right back to you as a credit on your student account. Simply use scrip gift cards for everyday purchases, and earn a rebate on each one at no additional cost.
Scrip is much easier than in the past. Families will purchase all orders online – no checks, no submitting order forms to the school -- and your cards/certificates are available either instantly for print, redemption on your Smartphone, or as reloadable gift cards. For more information, visit the Scrip website at www.shopwithscrip.com.
To sign up you will need our Traders Point enrollment code. However, we are unable to publicly publish our enrollment code for security reasons. Please email tpcascrip@gmail.com for this code and further directions.
We pray this will be a blessing to all of our Traders Point families in the New Year!
Important News … We’re Starting FRESH!
The Marsh Fresh Ideas for Education program has been in existence for over nine years. During that time thousands of shoppers have registered their Fresh IDEA, OMalia’s CouponPLUS and MainStreet Market Reward$ card and many of those cards have been lost, shoppers have moved away and children have moved on to other schools or graduated.
In order for the program to more accurately and fairly represent the efforts of active schools Marsh is requiring all card holders re-enroll for the 2014-2015 program in order to continue to earn credit for Traders Point Christian Academy. Card holders may begin enrolling & re-enrolling their cards to support our school now. The link is http://www.freshideasforeducation.com/cards/ Our school code is: 28886.
Each time you shop with your Fresh Ideas Card you earn points for Traders Point. We use these points to order equipment and supplies at the end of the year. It is a convenient and simple way to support our school. Thank you for taking a minute to sign up!
So far we have had only 15 shoppers sign up. It's quick and easy – just click on the link, enter your Fresh Ideas card number, and indicate Traders Point. Thank you!
