If your student is involved in any of the productions this year as cast or crew, they will need to attend our headshot day on September 7th. Cast and crew need to wear a black button up shirt. There will not be a make up day for the Wonder Boy productions so please attend.

Congratulations to our black box cast for Wonder Boy! We have already begun rehearsals and can not wait to share this beautiful story with our community. If you are in the cast or crew please fill out the production form found HERE or on our website. The deadline for payment or contacting the directors for financial assistance is September 8th. Please do these promptly.

Save the date for opening night! October 12, 13, 14, 20, 21 in the Black Box Theatre at 7pm and a Matinee at 1 on the 21st!

Coming up on September 21, 22 is our 11th annual 24 Hour Play Festival, Night Flight! This is a favorite for our students! They will meet at school at 6:00 on Thursday the 21st to be placed in groups and receive their prompt. Teams will then have 24 hours to write, cast, produce and tech an original 10-15 minute show. Performances will be Friday evening in the OTHS PAC. Tickets are $5 at the door, but bring extra money to vote on your favorite play to win Best Play at the end of the evening.

Student sign ups will be open on September 2 at 7am and close September 9th at 5pm. Spots are limited so set an alarm!

The cast and crew lists will be up Friday, September 1. Check the website Friday evening for results. Rehearsals will begin in October. Parents: If your student has made the cast or crew, please make plans to attend a mandatory parent meeting on September 13th at 6:30.

Save the date for performances! January 18, 19, 20 and 26, 27, 2024!

The team will be announced Friday, September 1st on our website. If you made the team please go to hslportal.com to accept your spot and complete your information. The new team will have an enrichment meeting Wednesday 9/6. Mark your calendars for Game A Thon at Jordan High school September 9th. This is a mandatory event that all players must be at in order to play for the season. More information will be emailed out to parents and students pertaining to GameAThon specifics, fees, jersey purchase and player expectations.

Each year the TTC takes a group of sophomores and juniors to Grapevine, Tx to compete and attend the Texas Thespian convention. Auditions to compete will be in classes, September 13 and 14. The events are found here. Take a look and begin preparing pieces!
