Just a Few Words...
A few days ago a student of mine named Ashley from 27 years ago put up a post asking her classmates which one of them had been the biggest clown. The name they came up with brought back a lot of memories. Ashley wrote me a message that said she didn't know if I was mad or laughing to keep from crying all those times when that student was doing helicopters in his desk during my class. I told her BOTH! He's one of my many Rudolphs.
The thing about Rudolphs is we will never forget them. They have a way of tugging at our heart while at the same time making us rub our heads. And when we really make a connection with them, you feel like you can conquer the world.
Busy does not begin to describe our last few days. I'm tired just thinking about the calendar of events. Coordinated Chaos may be a better description. I want to encourage you to enjoy them right along with your kids....especially if you have a Rudolph. When things get a little wild, take a breath. We don't get many opportunities to just have fun with our kids for extended periods of time. Let's not waste a minute.
