Gates Mills Student of the Month

On Wednesday, May 15th, Gates Mills School was featured at the Board of Education meeting. The Mayfield City Schools Student of the Month was fifth grader Kyndal M. Kyndal is a kind, giving and hard-working fifth grader. She was selected to be part of the student team that created the Idea Lab! She was selected because she is a good listener and is thoughtful in her work. She is compassionate, leads quietly and all of the students look up to her. Kyndal is an entrepreneur and started a cookie business in third grade called Kyndal's Kookies. She's sold her cookies at her church, a downtown venue in Cleveland, in the lobby of her apartment and can often be seen handing out flyers about her baked goods. She is a positive young lady who will leave a wonderful impression at Gated Mills Elementary. Congratulations, Kyndal!!

Important Rock Painting Information Next Week

Thanks again for your continued support!

Student Health Services

End of Year Medication Pick Up

It is a Mayfield School Policy that an adult pick up and drop off medications that are kept at school. You will need to pick up any remaining medication by the last day of school. We cannot store medications over the summer. Medication remaining in the clinic on Wednesday, May 29th, will be disposed of.

If you anticipate your student will need medication for the 2019/20 school year, please have new medication forms completed by the physician before school starts in August. Forms and medication from the previous school year cannot be used.

All Health services forms are located on the Mayfield Schools website at www.mayfieldschools.org, click on Families and then scroll down to and click on Student Health Services. Along the right side will be forms to download and print for your student's specific needs.

For students with medications for allergic reactions: Parents should complete the Mayfield City Schools Allergy Action Plan and a separate medication form for each medication.

Please have all forms and medication at school by August 15, 2019. Forms can be returned to school via fax (440-995-7505) or emailed to jslovasky@mayfieldschools.org. If you have any questions, please contact the Clinic (440-995-7503) by May 29th.
