Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- Staff attendance is expected daily throughout the testing season. It is essential that we maintain the instructional day and use every minute to help prepare our students.
- All Qtr. 4 Achievement Series pre assessments should be completed.
- Report cards should have gone home on Friday.
- Morning and afternoon duty is a collective effort. Let's be all in, present and timely in order to support our students and one another.
- ACTION: Bulletin boards MUST continuously be updated, with work that is no more than 2-3 weeks old.
- Objectives should be highly visible and posted daily.
- Q4 exit ticket tracker should be started and tickets tracked daily.
- ACTION: Evidence of standards review and MAP "like" questions being implemented.
- ACTION: MAP prep should be intentionally planned, included in lesson plans and evident in all 3rd - 6th grade classrooms-- we will be observing this throughout the week.
- Attendance calls MUST be made daily for all absent students
- Check your PST/PLC agendas prior to each weeks meetings and insure you are prepared.

Instructional Levers:

- K-2: Using Pathways and Alpha Kids data to inform instruction-- are students on track to meet the grade level phonological and phonemic awards foundational skills by end of year? If not, what interventions in your guided reading groups are you implementing to increase the pace of their achievement?
- 3rd - 6th: After looking at both Mock MAP and Q3 Post Assessment data, what objectives/skills are still needed to ensure students are meeting the demands of the entire standard?
Remember, task alignment predicts performance! Each lesson should follow a trajectory of components;, teacher model, guided work, CFU questions, independent work, and an exit ticket to assess the demands of the daily objective.
Weekly Cultural LOOK-FORS:
- As we move forward in the year, please continue to implement restorative practice (safe seat, conference, buddy room, conference) and flow chart when addressing behavior.
- Excitement, enthusiasm and positive energy built around individual and assessment goals.
- Expectations set and enforced that are connected to the culture of learning required for academic success.
