The meetings begin at 8:30 am and are in person as well as on Zoom and run for approximately one hour. The same zoom meeting information will be used for each meeting:

LOTE
Congratulations to the following students for recently passing the LOTE test. This is an optional exam that students take that satisfies the foreign language requirement for High School graduation.
Wangenheim needs you to complete this online survey to learn more about your opinions about it. This survey is an opportunity to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school. If you have any questions about this survey, contact Heather Lampron at hlampron@sandi.net.
- Your participation is voluntary. It is also very important. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement.
- This is an anonymous survey. It is designed so that no one can be identified from the data. You do not have to respond to any questions that you feel could be used to identify you. Simply skip any such questions.
- All questions apply to this school only.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING THE SURVEY
If you have more than one child at this school, you will only need to complete one survey for this school. Please fill out just one survey about the school using your oldest child as a reference.
Access the survey using the following URL:
https://wested.ugam-apps.com/wed/ts/v2ex
(when opening the link, choose parent survey/take survey, then select language)
Troubleshooting-If you are having trouble taking the survey, check the following:
- Make sure you are entering the web site address correctly.
- Does the survey welcome page show the correct name of your school?
- Make sure you have entered the URL (in the URL bar, NOT THE SEARCH BAR)
- Still having trouble? Contact Heather Lampron, counselor.
Thank you for taking this important survey!
The district will be administering the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) to students in grades 5, 7, 9, and 11 this spring. The California Healthy Kids Core Survey is sponsored by the California Department of Education. Visit CALSCHLS surveys for more information.

As a reminder, individuals should not attend work or school if they are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of any cold-like virus, until those symptoms start to improve and there is no fever for 24 hours (without use of fever-reducing medication). If any student or staff tests positive for COVID-19, please do not attend work or school and report the illness here.
The district will continue contact tracing and case management for all students and staff until further notice. All positive home test results that are reported to the school will be documented, and the district contact tracing team will report those positive results to the County Department of Public Health. COMMUNITY CORNER
East Coast Trip 2024
East Coast trip for 7th grade students for next year. On this trip we take participants to Boston, NYC, and Washington DC. We travel by plane and by luxury bus. We stay in very nice hotels and eat at fantastic restaurants. We see and do everything we can possibly fit into this week. There is one teacher chaperone for every 10-12 students and nighttime security guards hired for each floor of the hotels where there are students. This is an all inclusive trip, so once you pay for it, you don't need money for anything else except souvenirs. This is a trip of a lifetime- don't miss out!
We are holding an informational meeting for the East Coast Trip on Weds the 22nd at 6 pm. You MUST sign on with your school zoom account so that we can keep track of who is entering our meeting. If caretakers or adults can't attend, students can log on and take notes, or log on and record the meeting on your phone for your family. Zoom information will be posted on Wednesday in all 7th grade teacher's Google Classrooms. Remember, the signups are first come first serve and we can take 50 kids before we have to start a waitlist.
If you know you want to sign up and don't need the information meeting to do so, please email Ms Chambless for the link! If you have questions, contact Ms Chambless jchambless@sandi.net or Ms Coppola lcoppola@sandi.net
