Knights And Fights
A boy went to training to be a knight when he was seven. In his first years of training, the boy was called a page. For seven years, the boy goes through the first stage of training. In these years of training, the boy learns about courtesy, cleanness, and religion. Also, during these years, women taught the boys.
In the second stage of training, the boy was called a squire. He would then learn the skills of a battle and sports, and was taught by a knight. When the boy is between the ages 18-21, he becomes a knight.
Fighting
Battles were small events that were fought between knights and lords. The objective was to try to knock their opponents out so they could keep them as slaves. There was also tournaments in the twelfth century.
Jousting
The object was to knock the other person off their horse. You got a point if you hit him in the chest but it does not break the lance, two points if it breaks the tip of it, and three points if the hit shatters the tip of the lance.
Training
During his teenage years, a knight went through three stages to become a warrior in battle.
