Park Hall Weekly Updates
August 30, 2021
Principal's Notes for 8/30/21
Park Hall Families,
We are so excited to finally return to school and see all of our students. We have a few important reminders that will help everyone to have a successful start to the school year.
- All students will be returning to school for five days a week. There will no longer be virtual or hybrid schedules at Park Hall Elementary.
- Bus stop, bus number and approximate pick-up and drop-off times can be found by clicking here. Buses may be delayed the first few days. Families can track the location of their child's bus by clicking here. An adult must be present at the bus stop for Pre-K and Kindergarten students to be let off the bus.
- Parent drop off begins at 8:40 am this year and students can be picked up at 3:20 pm. Parents can sign-up to get a pick-up placard from the office or during pick-up/drop-off during the first few days of school.
- Masks need to be worn by students on the bus and in school. Students will not be wearing masks during breakfast, snack, lunch or when outdoors. Disposable masks will be made available for anyone that needs one.
- St. Mary's County Public Schools have put into place new processes for visitors coming to our schools. Park Hall has a new entry way with a window and computer. In order for visitors to come into the office, a valid driver's license or state issued ID must be provided. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but safety is a priority for all at Park Hall Elementary!
STUDENT MEALS:
- Breakfast, lunch, and take home meals will be offered daily for our students and will be free for all students for the entire year. In order to continue to receive our Title 1 supplemental funds, we are asking all families to fill out the Free and Reduced Meals application.
