Coca-cola, in their 2013 Super Bowl commercial "Going All the Way", aims to sell their soda by having a young boy on the football team score a touchdown after he looked as if he was unsure of his capability to do so. By the boy making the touchdown it built his confidence and he continued to run across the city all the way to stadium making yet another "touchdown" , and the coca-cola drink acted as a reward for his accomplishment. Coca-cola uses emotional appeal to transfer the effect of self-confidence and being rewarded for accomplishments. The intended audience for the Coca-cola commercial is towards anyone who doubts their capabilities and the coca-cola drink is used as an encouragement for them to accomplish challenges to receive an award (coca-cola drink).
