If you would like to submit content, below is a link to a survey with information on what should be submitted and how. BEFORE filling out the survey, please create a shared cloud space where you can put all your content for the year. The cloud space should be accessible to individuals with the link (no credentials or log-in required), and content should be downloadable by the viewer. Ohio University’s BOX, Google’s Drive, and DropBox all have this capability. In the past, Ohio University’s BOX was the easiest to use and had the least amount of issues. Keep in mind that you should be adding content throughout the year: https://ohio.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_erqfDsdMP12ZxXv
In the folder that you share with us, please provide multiple high-resolution photographs specific to your group, a caption for each photograph, description of your group (specific to milestones reached in this academic year, 100 word maximum), and any other related graphic content. For each caption, please reference the filename of the photograph to which you are referring. Photographs should be uploaded to the shared space, not embedded in another document. Barring extenuating circumstances, a general credit will be given to your group. If the photographer would like specific credit, please specify in the document with your captions and refer to the file name of the photograph.
Photographs should be submitted in “.JPG”, “.JPEG”, “.TIF”, or “.TIFF”. Written content should be submitted in “.doc”, “.docx”, “.PDF”, or “.txt”. Yearbook staff would like this content by March 1, 2019 by 5:00 PM with some flexibility. For any questions, contact Callie Burton, Athena Yearbook Managing Editor, at cb434417@ohio.edu.
In less than two months, thousands of graduating seniors will gather at the Convocation Center to mark the completion of their degrees. But only one student will have the honor of addressing fellow graduates during the 2019 spring commencement ceremonies.
Want to be considered?
Simply submit your proposed address (500-word speech or 5-minute video) to Josh Gruenke in the Campus Involvement Center via email at gruenke@ohio.edu. Entries must be received by March 11th.
All students graduating in a spring commencement ceremony are eligible to participate.
