Principal Newsletter - 9/27/19
Our Mission
We believe in the value of a diverse educational community; in a safe and caring environment where all children can learn.
Staff Highlight - Katie Klotz - World Language and French Teacher
During my classroom visits, I have been so impressed by her ability to actively engage her students in a warm, fun, and challenging learning environment.
Mrs. Klotz is a phenomenal addition to our school - Thank you for all that you do for our kids!
Student Council
Being a member of the Student Council requires a high school degree of commitment and a willingness to lead. If you are selected to become a Student Council Representative, you will have the opportunity to guide our school activities. A sense of pride and school spirit is promoted through the Council and the activities sponsored by this group.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your completed application to Mrs. Linen in room 210.

DI provides unique educational experiences across seven project-based Challenge types–Technical, Scientific, Engineering, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Service Learning, and Early Learning–allowing students from pre-K through university to become part of a global community of confident creators and practice essential skills needed to thrive in school, future careers, and beyond.

Cafeteria Information
If your child is planning on purchasing their lunch, please remind them to bring their student ID with them to the cafeteria. When students have their ID, it speeds up the check out process and allows students to maximize their time in the cafeteria. Thank you!

Parent Drop Off Procedures
Please only drop students off on the curb along the gym side of the building. Please do not park your car in the parking lot when dropping students off. When students have to cross through the parent drop off area they are creating an unsafe situation for themselves. This issue will become increasingly unsafe as the sun rises later in the morning. I have attached our parent drop off visual below.
