Krum ISD Weekly Update
For the Week of April 12-16, 2021
Happening This Week
Highlights from Last Week
Fun Fact: The EEC is home to PRIZE-WINNING AUTHORS! That's right. Mrs. Yanez's Kindergartners wrote and published a book, "Counting in Kindergarten". These young authors celebrated the publication of their hard work with a publishing party- complete with a red carpet and author singing. This book even won a $100 grant for their classroom!
🎉Congratulations🎉 to KHS Senior Landen Parkes on being award a $5,000 CoServ Scholarship! Representatives from CoServ surprised Landen with the news in person earlier this week!
Both the Bobcats baseball and LadyCats softball teams defeated Bridgeport at home Tuesday night with scores of 8-3 and 8-5, respectively.
Put your hands together for the outstanding KHS Band!
For the 12th consecutive year, the KHS Band has received a UIL 1st Division Sweepstakes in Concert and Sight Reading. This means that all 6 judges rated the KHS Band with a "Superior" rating- the highest possible rating. KHS Band has received a UIL Sweepstakes 14 times in the last 17 years.
We are #KrumProud of these musicians and directors!
