Principal's Corner
Below are a few reminders for the week. Have a wonderful week!
- As we go into the 2nd week of testing, please encourage and remind students to do their best in order to move beyond the expected growth. You have been working with students all year long and this is the time for them to show what they have learned thus far. Also remind them of how proud you are of them in reference to progress we have made this school year.
- Thank you for the work you have done to enhance PLCs this year. All teams have agreed to complete one more PLC Cycles this year. Please submit the following things as you complete them; An Essential Standard, SMART Goals, CFAs, Data Analysis, Action Plans, and PLC Minutes. Copy myself, Katie Johnson and Jeff Grimmett. Jeff will be utilizing a template provided by Brig, so we can house all PLC products in one place. If any of these directions are unclear, please notify myself, Ms. Little-Knighten or Facilitators so that we can assist.
- Staff- I cannot express enough the importance of being on time for the instructional day as well as duties. Emergencies will come up occasionally and when this occurs we administrators need to be notified to support you. However, being regularly late to the building or for duties is unacceptable. As always, safety for students is our upmost priority.
- CIC Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 4:00 pm.
- Math Department Meeting on Wednesday, April 17 at 4:00 pm.
- PLC/ Collaboration Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, April 19, 2019. Join us in the lounge during 1st or 2nd lunch for a catered meal. We recognize the work you are doing and want to take a moment to say, thank you!
