IES News and Events
February 2018
Notes from the Principal
We have had a great start to the spring semester. Our staff and students are hard at work in their classrooms. I encourage you to reach out to them and get more specific information about how your student is progressing on their learning. We have a busy spring ahead of us and are looking forward to celebrating the 100th day of school, Valentine's, Easter parties and much, much more! Again, if you have not had a conference with your student's teachers, we would encourage you to do so. Thank you for sharing your student with us! We love our lil' cats!
Tolerance
This six weeks we are focusing on tolerance. Our campus read is the book "The Sandwich Swap" by Kelly DiPucchio and Queen Rania of Jordan. Students will learn about appreciating each other for who they are. Ask your student how they can show kindness and acceptance to others.
High Climbers
Congratulations to these students who were chosen by their homeroom teachers as a high climber for the third six weeks. We are proud of their hard work in the classroom.
