2. Who are your characters? Give two details about each one (make sure that your characters and their traits support your theme).


3. Where does your story take place? Be specific about the setting and make sure it can support your theme.


4. Using at least one paragraph, explain the plot of your story.

My story takes place at a middle school in math class.


Explain the plot of your story.

Sally struggles with math. Although she studies, she still has a C- and wants her grade to be higher. Sally works up the courage to ask her teacher for extra help. Mrs. Miller offers to help Sally before school. Sally’s mom drives Sally to school early every morning to work with Mrs. Miller. At the end of the semester, Sally’s grade improves to a B.
