Panther Football Awards
The Division 1 District 13-AAA Awards for football were released this week. Please see the list of Panthers below who earned these awards. Congratulations to all of the Panthers on a great season and enjoy the results of your hard work!
Field Trip
AP Art History students attended a field trip to the San Antonio Museum of Art this week. The museum has artworks included in their permanent collection that correspond to the works the students are studying in their Art History course. These include artworks from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. They also have a wonderful collection of Spanish Colonial art, Renaissance, Modern, and Contemporary. The students were excited to engage in person with artworks and styles that they have studied and recognized. The AP Art History class is pictured below. Callida Borgnino is the BHS Art Teacher.
Construction Update
The pre-work is being completed for the Educational Center for the Arts. The crews are busy connecting to the water and sewer lines to service the new facility. The pad for the new transformer that will provide electricity is in place as well.
Check back for more details as the construction process progresses.
