Character Words for October: Fairness and Respect
The character words for this month are fairness and respect. Fairness means being free from judgement. Respect means treating people the way that you want to be treated. We will be talking about No Place for Hate this month. Please check the Anti-Defamation League's website (http://atlanta.adl.org/npfh_/npfh/) for more information. When we talk about fairness, we are talking about giving people what they need to be equal. Fairness does not always mean equality. Part of No Place for Hate's Resolution of Respect talks about treating people fairly. We will be discussing about how to treat people with respect and what that looks like with our friends.
