Voting has begun and will continue until 4:00 pm on May 1. So make sure to vote for barrel # 12 early and often. The link to vote has been provided below.

  • Marilyn Salerno on your recent retirement
  • Members of the Green Team for your very lucky and narrow victory over the Yellow Team

Mr. Mullingan's Health Class Project

Students in Mr. Mulligan's Health class worked in cooperative learning groups in which they had to explore the dangers and effects of smoking and drinking alcohol. Students were then directed to refine their findings so that a morning announcement could be read to their peers.

Mr. Mulligan's idea behind this lesson was to approach this unit on Tobacco and Alcohol with a cross curricular approach that brings together Health and Language Arts.

Math Competition

On Wednesday, April 22, the JHS Math Club traveled to Georgian Court University to compete in the Ocean County Math League competition. Congrats to Charles Roth and Kevin Cameron for receiving individual honors and all of the brilliant Wildcats who competed. Thank you Ms. Leek and Mr. Grosso for the wonderful job you do with these students.

GATE Princeton Trip

On Friday, April 24, 7th grade GATE students had the opportunity to visit Princeton University. They were lucky enough to meet and receive a very informative tour from Princeton freshman and Pinelands graduate, John Van Orten. A special thanks to John for taking time out of his very busy and demanding schedule to meet up with us.
