Attea Flyers
School Newsletter for Parents
End of School Year Edition
Hello, Attea families.
We've reached the end of a most unusual school year, and this will be the last newsletter.
It is hard to capture in words how challenging the school year was for students, staff, and parents. However, due to a healthy measure of patience, flexibility, and resilience on everyone's part, we were able to provide different opportunities for students and we've seen a variety of successes. And given the overall difficulty of the year, even the small successes were significant. The list of noteworthy accomplishments is too long to detail here; suffice to say that we are grateful to be able to work with your children, and we hope that the school year provided meaningful learning experiences for them.
Thank you, Attea parents, for all of your encouragement and support this year. Have a safe and happy summer.
Please call the school office (847-486-7700) or contact us via Contact Attea Middle School if you have any questions or need assistance.
Go Flyers!!
Last Day Schedule
- 8:15 am - typical school start time
- 10:45 am - all students are dismissed
Report Card Reminders
Report cards will be available to parents on Thursday, June 3. There are a few details to keep in mind:
- Trimester 3 report cards will be available in PowerSchool only. Copies are not being mailed or emailed home.
- After June 17, Trimester 3 report cards will no longer be viewable or printable. The school office will be able to print a grade record but not the actual report card. 8th grade parents should print a copy of the report card if you think you might need it in high school.
- Grade questions or corrections can still be made over the summer. Contact your child's teacher(s) via email if you believe a mistake was made.
Car Wash Success
Thank you for your support.
Attea High Flyers
We're proud to share a last look at this year's Attea High Flyers Raffle Prize Recipients.
Attea's student recognition program, "High Flyers," is one way we reinforce students' positive character and academic dedication. Students and parents are notified via email when a High Flyer is written. And to add some fun to it, we have a weekly random drawing of prize winners.
2021-2022 Online Registration is Open!
You can register your child for the 2021-2022 school year using District 34's online registration system any time. You also can verify residency (if applicable) and pay fees securely and conveniently online.
